For the record, on the record and to let the record reflect, Cannabis is one of the most powerful plants on the planet.  The plant has an innumerable amount of medicinal uses.  There is no disputing the wonders of this natural miracle.  This article is not for or against smoking marijuana.  Our goal is to share a balanced perspective and provide some information that you may or may not have known.  Smoking marijuana, also known as cannabis, can have a number of potential health effects. Some of these effects may be beneficial, while others may be harmful. One potential benefit of smoking marijuana is that it may help to alleviate certain medical conditions, such as chronic pain, nausea, and muscle spasms. Studies have also suggested that marijuana may be useful in treating conditions such as glaucoma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and multiple sclerosis (MS). However, smoking marijuana can also have a number of negative effects on one's health. One of the main concerns is that smoking marijuana can lead to lung damage, just like smoking tobacco does. Why?  Because long-term marijuana use typically leads to physical dependence and withdrawal symptoms, such as irritability, insomnia, and loss of appetite. It's also important to note that marijuana is still illegal in many countries and states, possessing, using or distributing marijuana may lead to legal problems and criminal records. It may also have negative effects on social and occupational functioning. In conclusion, smoking marijuana can have a number of potential health effects, both positive and negative. While it may be beneficial for treating certain medical conditions, it can also lead to a number of negative effects on one's health, including lung damage, mental health issues, and addiction. It's important for individuals to be aware of these risks and to make informed decisions about marijuana use. If someone does choose to use marijuana, it is important to do so responsibly and in consultation with a healthcare professional.  Weed (aka marijuana) is being grown in abundance which raises the concern of quality.  Due to the commercialization and legalization of the plant there's more probability that the same thing that has happened with the food industry is happening in the cannabis industry.  That's right ...... GMO Marijuana.  If you're going to be smoking a plant or consuming it for medicinal purposes it almost defeats the purpose if you're not getting the organic true article.  Be diligent and vigilant in where you purchase. HEALTHIER OPTIONS Cannabis oil, also known as CBD oil, is a concentrated extract of the cannabis plant that is taken orally or applied topically. Unlike smoking marijuana, cannabis oil does not involve inhaling smoke or vapor, which may make it a healthier option for some individuals. Cannabis oil can be made from both the marijuana plant and the hemp plant, which is a strain of the cannabis plant that has a very low THC content (the psychoactive compound in marijuana) and a high CBD content (the non-psychoactive compound in marijuana). CBD oil made from hemp is legal in many countries as it contains less than 0.3% of THC, while marijuana-derived CBD oil is legal in some states where marijuana is legal. Cannabis oil can be used to treat a variety of conditions, including pain, anxiety, depression, and seizures. CBD oil has been found to have anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, which can be helpful in managing chronic pain. CBD also has been found to have a calming effect on the central nervous system, making it effective in treating anxiety and depression. It has also been found to be effective in treating seizures and other neurological conditions. Cannabis oil is also a popular alternative to smoking marijuana due to its method of consumption. Additionally, it may be a better option for those who are sensitive to the psychoactive effects of THC, as it allows for more precise dosing and control over the amount of THC and CBD consumed. This does not mean that cannabis oil is perfect and without risk!  People who take cannabis oil may experience side effects such as dry mouth, dizziness, and drowsiness. It can also interact with other medications and should be used under the guidance of a healthcare professional. For the sake of not heating the plant and changing the chemical structure of marijuana we recommend the juicing of the plant via adding it to a green smoothie, eating it (taste isn't so great) or simply just using the oil, The oil is a concentrated extract of the cannabis plant that can be taken orally, applied topically, or inhaled through a vaporizer, which may be less harmful to the lungs than smoking. The lymphatic system is a network of vessels, tissues, and organs that play a crucial role in the body's immune system. It is responsible for removing excess fluid, waste products, and foreign substances from the body's tissues. The lymphatic system is also involved in the production and transportation of white blood cells, which are essential for fighting off infections and diseases. One of the main functions of the lymphatic system is to help keep fluid levels in the body in balance. When blood circulates through the body, it loses some of its fluid, which can build up in the tissues and cause swelling. The lymphatic system works to remove this excess fluid and return it to the bloodstream. This is accomplished through a series of vessels that carry lymph, a clear fluid that is similar to blood plasma, throughout the body. These vessels have one-way valves that prevent the lymph from flowing backwards and help to push it along. Spirulina- A Nutritious Seaweed To Consume Often

As you continue to grow on your health journey you will discover things that may seem weird in nature but will be beneficial to your overall well being.  For me, Spirulina was one of those things.  The thought of consuming a seaweed or an algae was unthinkable.  I had always thought of algae (or an algae eater rather) as something that we use in a fish tank to help facilitate a healthier environment for the fish.  Never once did I consider the thought of consuming algae as a part of my personal diet.  I soon found out just how little I knew about wellness.​So what is Spirulina? Spirulina is a blue-green fresh water algae that was once considered to be a staple food in the Aztec and Mesoamerican culture.  What makes it unique is the amount of nutrients that it contains.  This plant contains high amounts of iron, calcium Vitamin A, Vitamin B6, magnesium and Vitamin C.  It is said to be one of the world's most nutrient dense foods.  This means that you will be hard pressed to find individual food sources that have equal or more nutrients than Spirulina has.  There are other forms of healthy seaweeds in addition to spirulina.  This just so happens to be my favorite.  If you feel that you'd like to try something else there is; sea moss, dulse, wakame, nori, kombu, bladderwrack and kelp.  The Japanese culture has been documented as the longest lived people on earth in recent studies.  It's no coincidence that their diet is rich in sea vegetables.  They consume high amounts of soups and vegetables within their daily alimentation.  Sea veggies like spirulina are ideal for our consumption because they come from fresh water and are rich in minerals.  All nutrients are essential for human consumption but if I had to single out a family of nutrients that's at the top of the food chain it would be minerals.  Without minerals you cannot absorb vitamins.  Without minerals you are prone to contract any one of a collection of nutrient deficiency diseases.  Sea vegetables like spirulina, sea moss and others are most noted for their high mineral content. Unlike the fresh produce that we consume from the land on which we reside, spirulina and other sea veggies do not rely on the soil for their growth.  This in turn gives them an advantage as we know that much of our soil has been tainted over the years due to environmental pollution and farming methods.  Blue-green algae and all other sea vegetation rely on the water for their growth.  The one concern that I have with regards to seaweed is that they too are subject to pollution via the water.  You must be diligent in finding out which commercial brands are the best.  Consult your local herbalist or herb shop to find out if the brands that are available to you are credible.​One of the most impressive benefits to consuming seaweed is that you generally don't need to consume anything else as a supplement.  One or two high quality mineral-rich seaweed supplements on the daily basis will be just enough to help you get on the right track.  This is of course in addition to a healthy balanced diet and moderate exercise (if possible).  Spirulina is available in capsules or bulk powder form.  If you purchase it in powder form it's easiest to consume in a smoothie.  Trying to consume spirulina in a cup of water may be tough for the average person.  If you can pull it off I say go for it.  But I haven't had the urge to do so.  The most expedient way would be to get them in capsule form.  Be sure that the capsules are vegetable or vegan capsules as you want to consume the healthiest capsule form possible.

I generally patronize the fruit and vegetable market about three to four times per week.  I recently realized that I have never spoken to the many powerful benefits of consuming eggplant.  At the top of that is how fast eggplant lowers cholesterol and blood cholesterol.  While on a recent phone conversation with my grandfather I discovered that eggplant is one of his most prized vegetables out of his entire garden.  This tidbit of information is vital to the conversation because he is 85 years of age and lives primarily from his garden.  Eggplant is know as the garden egg.  It maintains a beautiful dark purple coat that shines brightly.  It is a close family member of the tomato, bell pepper and potatoes.  This is known as the night shade family.  So what makes eggplant so potent and have the ability to lower cholesterol naturally.  It's actually the eggplant juice that contains nutrients that have been proven to lower cholesterol through several studies.  Eggplant contains vitamins B1, B3, B6, copper, folate and fiber for those that have issues with waste buildup within the colon. One of the things that makes eggplant so attractive is that it is also used as a meat substitute. Vegans and vegetarians alike love adding eggplant to their recipes.  You can fry, bake, broil, boil, sautee or stew it and it will taste great.  I've had the great pleasure of consuming eggplant soup which was extremely nutritious and tasty.  When we think in terms of cellular health we have to also think in terms of blood health because healthy clean blood means healthy clean cells.  This will require us to consume fruits and vegetables that are dark in color.  This is also what makes eggplant suitable and recommended for frequent consumption.  Aside from eggplant, other blood building foods are dark grapes, cherries, strawberries, black berries, blueberries and more.To begin consumption of the eggplant it is recommended that you peel the vegetable first and slice for preparation.  If you're frying you may slice them in the same manner as people slice green tomatoes when frying them.  If you decided to make a soup you may want to consider cutting the eggplant in blocks before adding them to the pot.  All in all this is a very healthy cholesterol lowering food that works wonders.  I suppose it does not get the acclaim that the other foods receive because of it's shape and name.  As you hear the name and you are not familiar with the vegetable one would automatically surmise that egg and plant don't seem to go together.  For myself, this is what subconsciously made me shy away from this nutritious food.  In my mind I had a picture of an egg inside of a plant and I was repelled by the thought of even consuming it.  I was most definitely wrong!  Try this beautiful vegetable for yourself and experience the results.*Products related to this article: PLANT IRON PLUS

If you've ever observed or been around a dog long enough, the one thing you can say is that dogs have more sense than which people give them credit.  The one thing i've noticed with the dogs that i've had over the course of my life is that when they get sick, they stop eating!  If it's a dog that's a stray and it's not feeling well you will sometimes notice it eating grass.  It's because a dog is far more in touch with nature than human beings are (in a general sense).  And it instinctively understands that herbs or grass can either help cleanse or provide medicine that contributes to healing.  A dog will not continue eating and eating if it has an issue with its' stomach.   However, a human being will not only continue eating but it will be so brazen as to eat more than it's share of unhealthy food.  This is part of the reason why individuals have such a hard time overcoming disease.  They can't help themselves from putting food in their mouth.  Even if it means the food will exacerbate their current unfavorable situation.  In my opinion, one of the best ways to help yourself to overcome chronic illness is to stop eating and start drinking. Naturally, there is no guarantee that smoking (anything) means that you're going to contract some form of lung ailment.  It only means that you could be strengthening the odds against you that your lung function will decline sooner than the average individual walking the streets.  But hey, "you're gonna die anyway, right?"  While nothing could be more true, i'd still like to share a few things that you might want to incorporate to help combat any potential damage to your lungs.   For the record and for the road, smoke of any form is not ideal for the lungs.  People often send me tons of research papers about the endocannabinoid system, and how it's in place to help us withstand marijuana smoke.  I'm not here to debate, only here to assist.  The fact will always remain that heating up any plant changes the chemical structure and produces "some" toxic irritation within the system.  But again, I have no axes to grind with anyone, but reality is reality.  In case you are interested, a healthier alternative to smoking cannabis would be  to consume cannabis oil or juicing the baby leaf.  The plant is beyond a miracle plant! The family is eating at the dinner table and the dog is sitting on the side of the table seeking eye contact from anyone who is weak enough to give in to his desire for food..  He wags his tail in hopes of winning some table scraps. Your daughter (who loves her golden retriever) mysteriously lets some of her country fried potatoes hit the floor beneath her.  The dog sniffs the food and leaves it there.  As a parent you have warned your children many times before not to give the dog table scraps because it can harm the dog.  Not only can you harm it but it's just not a good habit to get into. MOST DISEASE IS CULTURAL. NOT GENETIC.  3/4/2018   There are an abnormally high number of people who are afraid of genetics coming back to haunt them.  They have in their mind that if their mother or father had a specific disease then they too will contract that same disease.  When you enter a doctor's office what is one of the first things that you must do?  You generally have to fill out a form.  On that form is a checklist of things that you may have contracted in your past or things that have a history of showing themselves within your family. What the doctor is doing is checking to see what diseases you may be "prone" to contracting.  The operative word here is "prone" and you will understand why later.  Doctors may tell you that certain diseases are genetic but that is somewhat of a generic approach to what may be going on within your family.   Most disease is not genetic.  What doctors know is that if you were raised in a family with strong unhealthy dietary traditions then you are prone to come down with any disease that your parents or grandparents once had.This is the part that most doctors won't share with you.  In a technical sense these diseases are genetic if you continue on the dietary path that your family did.  However, if you were to change your diet and begin to eat those healthy foods then you will have proven that the diseases are more cultural than anything.  An example would be if you grew up eating soul food such as many of the African Americans from the southern parts of the United States did.  If all you have ever known is fried foods, ham hocks and chitterlings then you will probably continue to eat these things over the course of your life.  Naturally if you are a truth seeker and researcher then you will change your life.  But if you eat this way and you know that your mother had cancer and your father had cancer then it is a very strong chance that you too will contract cancer because you are eating the same foods that they ate.  So, this pattern of eating is what makes diseases genetic if we are going to use the term.​Disease is not genetic.  It's cultural. You might ask, what does sex transmutation have to do with transmitting? To break that down we must start by talking about celibacy.  I have to cover the art of using celibacy as a tool for the overall improvement of mankind because there are more than enough articles, magazines and videos promoting sex that are currently circulating the air and ocular waves.  Above all things there has to be balance and so this article is an attempt to share information that could potentially provide balance as it relates to the health and wellness of your spirit and physical body.  We already know how to get it in!! During my professional basketball career I had a coach who was like a father to me named Marc Fulcher aka "Black Man" and "Folks" (RIP Folks).   Marc was from the streets of Oakland.   He passed a few years ago but he left me many life principles of which I still apply today.  One of the things that he always stressed to me was that if I decided to go around sleeping with multiple women that I would lose my energy each time I ejaculated.  He knew which players were doing what based on their energy levels during the games.  It was actually quite comical to see guys get break away layups for a dunk and watch their legs buckle while trying to jump!  More importantly as men we would "lose our seed and apart of ourselves each time."  Males, you ever noticed how you feel weaker after ejaculating?I can re-call a time while playing in the Dominican Republic and the woman that I was seeing (at the time) came from La Vega (another part of the Dominican Republic) to visit me while I was in the finals of the playoffs.  My team's first response was to inform me not to have sex with my girl the day before or of any games.  Needless to say I didn't listen.  Consequently, during the following game, ALL of my shots were SHORT and NONE of them went in.  I was scored on several times which was unusual because I am generally the best defensive player on the court!  By the results team officials and fans knew what the case of the pedestrian performance was!  In the DR everybody knows your business damn near before you do!!!Here is the major issue with most of us.  Many have taken the act of sex and made it into a recreation when it was actually intended for pro-creation, exercise and enjoyment, the downloading of information, bonding and much more.   Bliss and enjoyment for two people who are married, in an intimate relationship or have a deep understanding of each other and want the experience.  I don't re-call the biblical scripture where it speaks of man spilling his seed but there is much ancient wisdom on this topic.  For men when you engage in many sex acts you are putting a great deal of pressure on the prostate.  The prostate has to open and close during the ejaculation process as well as be a chief vehicle in the semen formulation process.  I don't have any studies but what I often wonder is, how many men have contracted prostate problems or prostate cancer because they have either masturbated too much or had too much sex?  I believe the numbers are high.When you are trying to achieve a certain level in life you must learn to become celibate and use this energy on your goal.  The great Napoleon Hill made a statement that makes a great deal of sense.  Hill stated (and I'm paraphrasing) that "Generally speaking, people (especially men) don't begin to advance in their career until their mid-forties.  It's only because they have left that sexual energy behind or it has reached calmer levels that allow them to concentrate and get other things done in life. That energy has been put into their job or business now.  This is called sexual transmutation."As it stands there are many people who engage in low vibrational sex.  There is no judgement here because most nearly all of us have done it at some point in life.  Low vibrational sex is just casual sex with people you may not really know or someone that you have no intentions on being with or around.  We basically serve our mundane desires of what we feel is "meeting our needs."  This is about pure satisfaction.  I'm not saying that it can't be done if two people are on the same wave length and are both agreeing to such a thing.  The problem is that one of the two people will eventually want more or could be carrying some bad vibes with them along with sexually transmitted dis-eases.  When you engage in low vibrational sex you have no way of knowing how many people this person has been with.   They might tell you but there is no real way to be sure.  If we are looking at this metaphysically and spiritually then we will understand that you will take on the energy and personality of the individual that you decided to lay with. The most interesting part about this is that not only will you be taking on your sex partner's energy but you will also take on the energy of the people that they have been with.  You ever been physically involved with someone and you begin to act different and you don't even realize why you are behaving differently? It's because you have taken on other personalities. What if that man or woman was with a killer or child molester?  Now you've taken on all of their energy. Energy never dissipates it just changes from one form to the other. There are so many things that can happen to you just because you are not willing to use discretion and focus on what you need to focus on.​Am I saying stop having sex?  Hell no!  We all love it.  What I'm proposing is that if you are plagued with problems (health or personal) or want some clarity on life, you may want to consider taking a break and abstaining from sexual activity.  The time will be based on you as an individual.  Of course that would depend on if you are married or single.  Let's be real, whose spouse is going to want to not get some skins for 6 months?  So above all things we have to be logical.  But if you are single the galaxy is the limit. What's going to happen is your mind will become clear because the sexual energy is going into you and your projects. Meditation and quiet time will prove favorable for your personal development during this period. I remember reading an article about rap group Wutang member Rza.  He shared some information that opened my eyes some years ago.  He revealed that he went celibate for one to two years (don't quote me on the time frame but it was an extended period of time). The result of his discipline was more energy and a boost in his goal oriented endeavors. The funny thing about being celibate is that you attract more of the opposite sex because they can notice the energy or your aura.  This celibate time is so important so that you can focus all of you energies on personal development and attract everything that you want to yourself.On the contrary, being too celibate can be detrimental.  Remember the universe likes balance.  If you are at an age where a person would be fairly sexually active and you are celibate for many years then you could potentially face back lash. I know women that have had little to no sex in their lives and the result of this negligence has been the creation of dis-eases and pathologies for themselves. This is due to the extremely high amount of suppressed energy. We have to be realistic about one thing.  It is natural for everyone to want to engage in physical activity from the opposite sex.  Some form of physical touch is needed.  When you suppress this act for so long, eventually things start to find a way to express themselves and manifest into other outbursts within the body.
